Week of Repentance: Day 8

2 Chronicles 7:13-14, Psalm 133, Acts 2:42-47

I hope that this week has had as great an impact on you as it has on me! What a wonderful reminder of God’s call for us to examine ourselves, not just one week a year, but each day. Not to seek perfection, which is a temptation for many of us, but to seek the Holy Spirit’s power to search and destroy those areas that keep us from experiencing God’s best.

God desires for His people to live at peace with one another – but not just at peace in the sense of there not being open hostility, protests, injustice, or cruelty; but peace born of genuine concern and compassion for one another.

Thanks for joining me this week for the Week of Repentance! We’ll be jumping back in to a Chapter-a-Day starting tomorrow with Joshua chapter 1.
