About

Felicia Bowen BridgesFelicia’s adventure began as an Army brat, living in eight states and two foreign countries by the age of fifteen. Her nomadic childhood inspired novels which reflect God’s power in the lives of His children and inspire others to follow Christ with child-like abandon. CzechMate is the first in The International Mission Force series which chronicles the epic adventures of teens serving in exotic places. Both CzechMate and the second book in the series, BoliviaKnight, have won awards at the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference. She also writes non-fiction short stories based on her personal experience and centered on God’s grace. Felicia’s short stories have been included in Then Along Came an Angel, Messengers of Deliverance and God’s Provision in Tough Times.

Felicia is the rare extroverted writer. She enjoys meeting new people and loves sharing stories of her adventures following God whether it is with a new acquaintance in line at the grocery store or an audience of hundreds. Her passion for missions, parenting, and seeking God first are contagious. Topics she has covered include:

Writing Fiction – Stepping into the Adventure God Wrote for You

Following God on a Lifetime of Adventure

Missionary Parenting – Leaving Isaac on the Altar

Transparent-ing – Raising Kids with Brutal Honesty

Felicia welcomes speaking engagements for book clubs, writers groups and classes, and women’s conferences.
